I am moving from one institution to another/changing labs. How do I manage this transition?

Quartzy makes managing this transition easy:

1. Leave your current groups: If you're a member of a lab group or a member of a Facility group, you'll need to leave them. NOTE: if you're the ONLY admin of a group, you'll have to promote somebody else in the group to Admin. Also, when you leave a group a copy of your stuff will stay with the inventory of the group you leave for continuity purposes.

2. Join or Create your new groups. If you're transferring to a new institution, that the lab you're joining is already on Quartzy, just go to the Groups section and either Join an existing group at your new institution, or Create a new group and invite your new lab to join!
